WASHINGTON, October 22, 2013
Nodal Exchange, LLC has been shortlisted or selected as a finalist for three industry awards: the FOW International Awards 2013 “Exchange of the Year – US and Canada” (shortlist); the Commodity Business Awards 2013 “Exchange of the Year” (shortlist); and the Platts 2013 Global Energy Awards “Rising Star Company” (finalist). “Nodal Exchange is very honored to be a finalist for these prestigious industry awards,” said Paul Cusenza, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nodal Exchange.
“Nodal Exchange has grown significantly with year-to-date trading volume double the same period in 2012. Our exceptional growth has been made possible thanks to the tremendous efforts and dedication of the employees of Nodal Exchange and the many constituents, including LCH.Clearnet, 21 clearing members, 9 brokerages and over 80 signed participants, that help make Nodal Exchange a thriving marketplace. We are very pleased to be recognized for these achievements.”
The FOW International Awards recognize the very best in the global derivatives industry. Categories span the full breadth of the market from exchanges to individuals and honor the key innovators and product launches in the markets over the past year.
The Commodity Business Awards reward excellence throughout the commodity supply chain – in trading, risk management, structuring, finance, research, advisory, logistics, legal, and specialist technology.
The Platts Global Energy Awards honor and recognize those who have transcended the status quo in the name of excellence in leadership, innovation and performance in the energy industry. Finalists were chosen from a list of over 200 nominations, based on their performance for each category’s criteria within the designated time frame.
Winners of these Awards will be announced at events in London and New York this fall.
