Our training is composed of overview training, company tailored training, and self guided on-line auction platform user interface trainingnew. Our training sessions help educate you and your team about Nodal Exchange and walk you through the specifics of trading on our platform. Mock auctions are also held as an opportunity to test your readiness and trading approach prior to live trading.

Training Sessions
Overview Training
Nodal Exchange staff conducts overview training sessions on an individual company basis by request. If interested, please contact Nodal Exchange Account Management.
Tailored Training (Individual Company Sessions)
These sessions will be scheduled with individual participants (companies) and will provide a tailored session for traders, risk managers, and others with a need to understand the end-to-end functions of the exchange. These sessions will be a webcast and conference call with the users of a single participant logged into the Nodal Exchange User Interface with training environment accounts. These sessions provide an opportunity for users to verify their user setup and conduct a series of task-based activities such as user management, order upload, order verification, auction results review, OTC trade entry, OTC cleared trade review, open position review, and margin calculations.

Self Guided On-line User Interface Trainingnew
This on-line training session guides users through specific tasks in the auction platform user interface. Participants can complete the training at their leisure and choose to view one or many of the following sections:

Mock Auctions
We offer an opportunity for participants to experience trading on Nodal Exchange through mock auctions. Mock auctions give traders an opportunity to see the auction process end-to-end. In addition to introducing participants to the user interface, the mock auctions demonstrate how the auction engine operates. Through the mock auctions potential participants can better understand how the Nodal Exchange offering fits with their current trading activities and aid their preparations for live trading. We conduct mock auctions offering our hub/zone contracts as well as auctions offering our full nodal contract set.
